In operations, Don Phillips, who has worked in logistics and management for several companies, will take over for Lawson.
Lowe’s announced that Larry Stone, President and COO, has retired. The company said it does not plan to fill the President and COO position after Stone’s retirement.

The 7,000-sq.-ft. facility includes power tools, roofing products, flashings, sealants, fasteners, safety equipment and other products regularly used by contractors. The solar products area includes solar panel displays, string inverters, combiner boxes, Quickmount PV products, solar fasteners and other accessories.
Lowe’s has signed a contract with residential solar firm Sungevity to become a distributor, significantly expanding its reach into the fast growing market for domestic solar panels.
