H-E-B is testing mobile coupons in four stores. Customers visit the H-E-B website to sign up and select the offers they want and at checkout they enter their mobile number and pin at the payment terminal and the discounts are applied.

O’Reilly Auto Parts is in the process of replacing its point-of-sale transaction engine.
Pier 1 is planning to complete its chainwide POS rollout by this summer.
Walmart has launched a pilot program in two stores that allows hourly employees to sign up to work additional open shifts in all departments. The company plans to roll out the program to all stores by the end of October.
